Terms of Service (EULA) — Sigs: Clinic & Sessions

Welcome to Sigs: Clinic & Sessions ("Sigs"). By downloading or using the application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

1. Scope of Service & Medical Disclaimer

Sigs is an administrative scheduling, attendance tracking, and practice management tool designed for independent mental health practitioners. The app is not an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, medical device, or clinical decision support tool. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your clinical practice and patient records comply with all applicable local healthcare laws and regulatory standards.

2. Local Storage & Practitioner Backup Responsibility

      Important Backup Disclaimer: Sigs operates on a 100% on-device architecture. Because patient data is never synced to our servers, you are solely responsible for maintaining regular backups of your device (using Apple iCloud Backup, manual JSON/CSV exports, or the app's automated backup service). We cannot recover clinical records if your device is lost, stolen, or damaged without a backup.
    

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Free Tier: Free access includes scheduling and attendance tracking for up to six (6) active patient profiles.
Pro Subscription: Unlocks unlimited active patients, complete historical practice insights, and advanced billing exports. Subscriptions are billed on an auto-renewing basis (Monthly or Annually).
Cancellation: You may cancel auto-renewal at any time in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
Refunds: All refund requests are handled directly by Apple under standard App Store policies.

4. Intellectual Property

The application, including its user interface, algorithms, branding, and design tokens, is the exclusive property of Serendipity Apps. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the app for your professional practice.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Serendipity Apps and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use or inability to use the application.
